Saigon jeep daily tour

After the first hour, you will turn into small roads running through towns, schools, markets, and rubber farms. From your Jeep, you can witness the life of locals on IronLand (what the Vietnamese called Cu Chi during the Vietnam War). Meet the hard-working but optimistic people on the way. It seems like no war has ever happened there for the last few decades, or those people are just too unyielding and tolerant.

Cu Chi Tunnels – Vietnam war relics

Upon arrival, you will watch a short introductory video about the land and people of Cu Chi during the war. Viewing various mantraps, the remains of an American tank, and numerous bomb craters, you can even explore the tunnels by yourself to have the feeling of living underground. (If you like to try out war-era guns, check them out at the shooting range at your own expense).

You then proceed to the Cao Dai Temple; the site is not only interesting to Westerners but, surprisingly, to Vietnamese too. Caodaism is a mixed religion between Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, and Christianity. Its philosophy is so different; however, there is also a common thing with most of the main religions in the world: leading people to live happily, love each other, and do good things.

Cao Dai Temple

Beside the unique architecture of the temple, the manners of the followers will impress you. You can see it by the way the temple guards behave; they are very gentle, polite, and friendly to visitors. Inside the temple, you will see the all-seeing Holy Eye, the symbol of the Cao Dai sect. Statues and images of Jesus Christ, Buddha, even French writer Victor Hugo, and the Hindu god Brahma all share space inside this fascinating temple. Explore the site and watch the colorful noon mass held by Cao Dai followers, which is very interesting.

Have lunch at a local restaurant, and then drive back to Saigon after that. Drop you at your hotel, wish you had good time with us!
