Two day Hoi An jeep tour to Co Tu Village is immersed in the unique ethnic minority region of central Vietnam! The traditional villages of Co Tu people as Bho Hoong village in Tay Giang build the Guol house or communal house in the center and the houses of villagers are located around. Like many other ethnic groups, when building a house, Co Tu people make many rites to choose a piece of best land. Despite having to choose the direction of land from the communal house, Katu people never located the doors at the direction of East and the West. The village has more than 300 people, most of them are Co Tu ethnic group and more than 50% of households do traditional brocade weaving and rattan knitting. This place is also preserving, displaying objects, photographs and traditional Guol architecture of Co Tu people. Bho Hoong cultural, tourism village has become an attractive destination for tourists. Here, tourists will be welcomed by village elders, Co Tu boys and girls, then they will take tourists go over Kon river by a suspension bridge together with the animating sound of gongs. In the village center, there is one large Guol and four Moong houses in surrounding that create the appearance of an ancient Co Tu village.

08.30     We depart Hoi An bound for our two day action packed adventure in the Co Tu minority region of Vietnam.

09.30     After taking the countryside and laneways route out of Hoi An, we begin our ascent into the mountains.  Here we stop for a local Vietnamese coffee and rest break.

11.00     We arrive at the home of the former Co Tu chief and his family.  We enjoy a tour of the tea plantations the area is known for before enjoying a cup of local tea or coffee, or for the more adventurous, some local rice wine.

12.00     After our tour and introduction to Co Tu culture we enjoy a traditional Co Tu meal followed by a music performance, using instruments that are unique to the Co Tu.

13.00     It’s time to continue our journey.  Bidding our hosts farewell, we continue our journey up the mountains making our way to the ethnic minority village of Bho Hoong.

14.00     Arriving at Bho Hoong we have time to refresh and check in before meeting a local resident who will escort you for a walk around the village and surrounding areas.  On the village walk, you will learn about to local culture and lives of the people who live in the village.

15.30     Returning from your walk you are free to enjoy a beverage, rest or take a swim in the local river.

18.30     It’s dinner time and we make our way to the communal house for a traditional Co Tu banquet.

20.00     Dinner is followed by a traditional bonfire and dancing or music performance.  (Dancing performance where group size is 4 or more.)  Then it’s time to retire for the evening.

Day 2: Hoi An Jeep Tours & Homestay in Co Tu village – 2 Days : Cu Tu village jeep tours back to Hoian

08.30     It’s a leisurely start to the day and we enjoy breakfast.

10.00     We have an opportunity for an early morning swim before saying farewell to the village.  Boarding our vehicle we make our way to another Co Tu village, known throughout Vietnam for its brocade weaving.  We have an opportunity to watch the weavers work and inspect the weaving, and even buy a keep sake if you please.

11.00     After our visit to the village we make our way to the famous Ho Chi Minh Highway.  The views are stunning on this largely deserted piece of road.  Have your cameras handy.  There are many opportunities for photos.

13.00     It’s time to unpack a delicious picnic lunch and enjoy it by the side of a waterfall.  Take a swim if you like.

14.00     Winding our way down the Ho Chi Minh Trail we make our way into the delta area at the base of the mountains, taking in the lush scenery and photo opportunities as we make our way to Hoi An.

16.00     Arrive Hoi An and return to your hotel.

Tour starts at 8.30am and finishes approx. 4pm. Tour operates daily. Guaranteed tour departure with groups of 2 or more.
