Day 1 – Hanoi Homestay Tour at Ky Son Village in Son Tay: Hanoi – Ky Son Adventure Tours (Walking – Cycling) (-/L/D)

Drive to Ky Son Village in the morning. Take a pleasant walk around the village to get a taste of the northern countryside lifestyle of Vietnam before joining your homestay host for lunch preparation. Have lunch and learn more about the Vietnamese cultural through conversations with locals.

In the afternoon, set out on a bike ride along local trails with stops for taking pictures, picking herbs and vegetables, chatting with children and farmers and shopping at the village market while soaking up the pastoral atmosphere and divine tranquility. Return to the homestay for a relaxing traditional herbal bath before dinnertime. Before sleeping, soak your feet in a traditional herbal treatment. Overnight homestay in Ky Son.

Day 2 – Hanoi Homestay Tour at Ky Son Village in Son Tay: Ky Son – Thay Pagoda – Hanoi (B/-/-)

The serene morning will inspire you and the host to practice Yi Jin Jing, a series of exercises coordinated with specific breathing techniques and mental concentration. Leave Ky Son and head towards Ha Noi visiting the Thay Pagoda en route.

Our standard payment policy is to ask for a 30% deposit of the package value at the time we send the final confirmation and the booking code for your trip. The balance of the total package tour price should be paid at least 21 days before starting date of the trip.

No, all inclusions and exclusions are mentioned at our final confirmation for your trip. Generally, tipping is not compulsory. If you are satisfied with your guides, drivers, a small gratuity is an appropriate way in which to show appreciation to them.

How can I get Vietnam visa on arrival?

For those who travel with VIETLONG TRAVEL, we can arrange the visa approval letter allowing them to obtain a visa on arrival at Noibai Airport in Hanoi, Danang Airport in Danang, Tan San Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh. After 3-4 working days, we will send you the visa approval letter. We charge US$ 50 for visa on arrival at the airport. This fee is subject to change without prior notice.

How safe is Vietnam?

Vietnam is a relatively safe country to visit but there are increasing instances of theft, especially in HCMC where pickpockets and snatch thieves on motorbikes are common. The best tip is to be vigilant at all times. Leave all valuables at home, and make sure you have a firm grip on cameras and shoulder bags at all times. It is advised that travelers should have medical insurance before arriving in Vietnam. Although there are several international medical clinics in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, generally the country still lacks adequate medical care for serious illnesses and injuries.
