Itinerary :

Day 1: Hanoi tour to Mai Chau Valley. (L/D)

At 8:00 AM our guide and driver pick up at your hotel in Hanoi and drive you to Mai Chau. It takes you about 4 hours on transport. You arrive in Mai Chau, Pom Coong village inhabited by White Thai ethnic group. Check in the homestay and be warmly welcomed by our host. Then we have lunch at family of Thai people. It’s wonderful to enjoy how delicious of Thai’s cuisine.

You will have some rest and enjoy the fresh air at the village. Then you enjoy a walk around the village to get more experience of local life. Here you can also learn how to weave silk with an old loom in the family courtyard as well as more daily life of local people activities such as land preparation with a buffalo, rice planting, harvesting corn or vegetables,etc. Have dinner at the family. Overnight at stilt house of Thai minority village with basic condition

(Note: Stilt house for homestay is standard, it is a share with has the curtain to separate each mattress, share bathroom together. However, it is clean and safe for stay)

Day 2: Mai Chau tour to Nghia Lo. (B/L/D)

Have breakfast with the family. This early morning you can wake up early to hear the sound of mountain life and fresh air to enjoy as your own way.

Then you leave the beautiful valley of Mai Chau to reach the plateau of Moc Chau where is very famous for its tea plantation, pleasant climate and dairy industry. Here is more chance en route for the enjoyment of scenery with wild and spectacular. You can see few tribal villages of H’mong, Thai and Muong people with the spectacular views of rice terrace fields, traditional wooden stilt houses on hill sides. Continue your trip to Phu Yen valley and have lunch at restaurant.

This afternoon the driver transfers you to Nghia Lo where is the capital of Thai ethnic people in Muong Lo. More see of rice fields, vegetable gardens which are attractive. Have dinner with family. Overnight at homestay or hotel in Nghia Lo.

Day 3: Nghia Lo tour to Mu Cang Chai via Tu Le and Khau Pha Pass. (B/L/D)

After breakfast at the family. Today you will start your day tour to visit Hoang Lien Son chain with stunning rice terraces, hike more to reach nice terrace fields and the ethnic Thai & H’Mong villages for more experience of magnificent landscapes as well as discover more their customs.

Afternoon continue your trip to Tu Le and passing through Khau Pha Pass which is the most amazing and spectacular in North Vietnam. Reach Mu Cang Chai and enjoy the spectacular of terrace fields. Have dinner at family. Overnight at homestay in Mu Cang Chai

 

Day 4: Mu Cang Chai tour to Sapa via Than Uyen and Tan Uyen over O Quy Ho Pass (B/L)

Have breakfast at homestay. This morning you have more experience around Mu Cang Chai for more enjoyment. Then you leave Mu Cang Chai for Than Uyen and have more chance to catch spectacular terrace fields which make you amazing. You will have chance to admire the spectacular Tram Ton Pass – the highest pass in Vietnam with the height 2047 m of sea level to enjoy the fresh air and super view of Fanxipan Mountain of 3143 m with fog and cloud cover all day round. You arrive in Sapa town and have lunch at restaurant.

This afternoon you are free to experience around Sapa town as your own way. Free to have your own dinner. Overnight at hotel in Sapa.

Day 5: More Trek Lao Chai – Ta Van Village. O/N At Homestay In Ta Van (B/L/D)

After breakfast at hotel, today is the full day trekking distance. It’s about 6km from Sapa to Black H’Mong village of Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai. From the village you can have the wonderful panorama of valley, terrace fields. En route on the small trekking path you can have a stopover at small stall to enjoy picnic lunch.

Ta Van village is on your trekking route where is in the middle of Muong Hoa valley will give you more enjoyment.

Homestay at Ta Van village at tribe stilt house will be an unique experience to get more culture and their life style.

 

Day 6: Sapa – Cat Cat Village – Back To Hanoi (B/L)

Have breakfast at family, then you have more enjoyment at the village. The driver transfers you back Sapa town and have more discover of Cat Cat village by walking around the village to get more experience. Visit more the hydroelectric power station built by the French in the old days. Have lunch in a restaurant.

In the afternoon, you will be transferred back to Hanoi on the highway Lao Cai – Hanoi. Drop you off Hanoi airport for taking flight depart Vietnam or stop at your hotel in Hanoi. Our tour finish. Hope you have a great time in the Northwest of Vietnam
