Experience the rich history and breathtaking landscapes of central Vietnam with our 2-day Hue – A Luoi – DMZ tour. This journey takes you from the ancient imperial city of Hue through the lush hills of A Luoi and into the historically significant DMZ (Demilitarized Zone). This tour offers a blend of cultural immersion, historical exploration, and natural beauty, providing a comprehensive look at the heart of Vietnam.


Itinerary :

HUE – A LUOI – DMZ TOUR/ 2 DAYS

Itinerary:

Day 1: Hue – A Luoi – Hamburger Hill – A Roang. O/n in homestay ~ 90 kms (LD)

AM: Depart from your hotel in Hue at 8:00 am for A Luoi about 60 km, along the way from Hue to A Luoi you can see natural beauty and tribe groups in mountainous area. You will be on car 2 hours to get Aluoi and start your trip by visiting Hamburger Hill or nickname 937 Hill – the famous battlefield during Vietnam War. On arrival the foot of mountain you will start to trek up hill with hundreds steps to the top and enjoy the panorama of the airport, combat base and green forest revival after the war. Next, visit Ashau valley – one of important landmark in A Luoi during Vietnam War. Back A Luoi town and have lunch at local restaurant.

PM: In the afternoon, you will continue your way to Aka – Achi village in A Roang. Our tour guide will take you visit around to explore the daily life of Ta Oi ethnic people and their culture. Experience the traditional handicraft of Det Dzeng textile weaving with locals, witness how the women weave their dresses or even admire the way they thread yarns on looms with their best tenacious efforts. Here you also have chance to relax at A Roang Hot Spring for more leisure. Check in stilt house of tribe people. Have dinner with local cuisine made from Ta Oi people. In the evening you will enjoy traditional music show of minority people and learn more of their culture. Overnight at homestay.

Day 2: A Luoi – DMZ – Hue ~ 330 kms (BL)

AM: Wake up early and experience the early morning at the village with lively sound of the forest. Have breakfast at homestay. You leave Aka Chi and back A Luoi centre for discover morning market to enjoy more the daily life of local people here. You leave A Luoi along Highway No15 – the branch of Ho Chi Minh trail to reach Quang Tri. On arrival, visit Dakrong Bridge before getting to Khe Sanh Combat Base and Ta Con airport – the airfield where displays things of the war and planes remains here before arriving Dong Ha town at noon. Have lunch at restaurant.

PM: This afternoon you continue your  trip explore DMZ by pass through Hien Luong Bridge, Ben Hai River, 17th Parallel and visit Museum, Vinh Moc tunnel – the network of tunnels that made hero in war where was the shelter for villager during bombings. You can see the efforts of villagers when digging tunnels with facilities of well, hospital, school, home After that the driver transfers you return Hue city. Tour end at your hotel in Hue around 6:00 pm.
