Overview
Cam Thanh Coconut Village is located about 5km from the southeast of the Hoi An Old Town, Quang Nam, Viet Nam. The existence of the craft of making coconut paintings and the water coconut forest ecosystem Cam Thanh has created a cultural space to attract domestic and foreign tourists to visit, sightseeing or study. During the Vietnamese war, it was the shelter of local people and soldiers, and today it is known as a provider of seafood products to the region. The first impression of tourists in here is peace, not noisy. It secluded as a peninsula, house by house by the green flap coconut four seasons. Going into the village, tourists will easily enjoy the village’s tradition and the workers in here.

08:00 Our driver and tour guide will pick you up at the lobby of your hotel in Hoi An and transfer to Cam Thanh coconut village. After about 20 mins, we will arrive in Cam Thanh

Here, you will experience basket boat ride around the coconut forest, learn about the daily life of Vietnamese fishermen, their families and their community.

During the trip, the boatman will take coconut leaves to make funny natural ornaments such as hats, rings, glasses … extremely lovely for you. You will surely experience the feeling of floating on the waves of water and
join a equally fun basket boat race between the baskets together in the cheering and bustling music drum.
11:00 Join in local fisherman on the river and experience on round net or cast net. Coconut forest is a very unique eco region, with a beautiful mangrove forest, is the habitat of many precious animals such as, crab, shrimp, fish
and even animals soft body.
11:15 Local people will teach you how to paddle the Vietnamese unique bamboo basket boat. You will hear stories of past wars and the harsh conditions that soldiers have to endure
12:30 Next, you will have lunch at local restaurant (optional)
