Itinerary :

Day 1: Vietnam Cooking Class from Hue to Hoi An via Da Nang: HUE – ARRIVAL

Arrive in Hue where you will be greeted by a representative and transferred to your hotel.

Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Vietnam Cooking Class from Hue to Hoi An via Da Nang: HUE PRIVATE COOKING CLASS & SIGHTSEEING (B/L)

Am: At 08:00 our driver will pick you up at hotel and walk to visit Dong Ba Market- the most famous and oldest one in Hue city. On the road, you could contemplate the tranquil and beautiful view of poetic Perfume River during walking through Truong Tien Bridge – nice symbol of Hue city. At Dong Ba market, you will greeted by the teacher (instructor) of cooking class and buy ingredients for the cooking class.

Get knowledge and understanding about the history, tradition, and decoration way as well as cooking of Hue culinary art with hundreds of delicious foods which cooked by the good cooking technique, nice decoration art, charming aromatic flavor, fascinating color…Then hearing about the interesting dishes which you will practice and prepare the ingredients for cooking.

Begin learn how to cook Hue local specialty food include Hue fried meat roll, Hue pancake, banana flower salad, roast beef with the guide of teacher. After cooking, you not only enjoy the food cooked by yourself but also taste other appetizing dishes of the class. Our guide will pick you up and transfer back hotel around 12:30.

Pm: After lunch, you will visit the Imperial City was the place where Nguyen Dynasty’s Emperor and royal family worked and lived from year 1802 to 1945 including many palaces and architectures and surrounding: Noon Gate, Thai Hoa Palace, Purple Forbidden City, Nine Dynastic Urns, The Temple…

Then you will visit Thien Mu Pagoda – one of the oldest and prettiest religious buildings in Hue and Vietnam and make a boat trip on Perfume River to enjoy a tranquil atmosphere and beautiful scenes on two river’s banks on the way back to your hotel. Check in hotel. Free to have your own dinner. Overnight at hotel in Hue.

Day 3: Vietnam Cooking Class from Hue to Hoi An via Da Nang: HUE PACKAGE TOUR – DA NANG – HOI AN SIGHTSEEING TOUR (B/-/-)

In this morning, before leaving to Danang we will take a short drive though the rolling hill to see the elaborate royal tomb of Emperor Tu Duc and the famous Tu Hieu Pagoda. The scenic 4-hour drive via Hai Van Pass offers spectacular views of mountains, the sea, idyllic beaches and villages (we can choose the shorter way by driving through the tunnel).

Upon arrival Da Nang, we will take a visit to Cham Museum formerly known as the Ecole Francaise d’Extreme Orient. This museum contains many exquisite limestone carvings from the vanquished Kingdom of Champa which has been the central coastal littoral prior to the march of the Vietnamese nation southward. Then a visit to Marble Mountains with its beautiful grottoes and temples whose peaks represent the five elements of the universe. Later on, we keep on rolling further southward to Hoi An, which was originally one of major trading centers of Southeast Asia in the 16th century.

Day 4: Vietnam Cooking Class from Hue to Hoi An via Da Nang: HOI AN – TRA QUE VILLAGE – BIKING & COOKING CLASS (B/L) 

Breakfast at hotel. In this early morning, our guide welcomes you at the hotel in Hoi An and takes you to siting on boat to learn fishing for more experience under the instruction of the local people. Especially, you will practice by yourselves how to catch fish, how to catch the net into the river…Then you will visit green Bay Mau water coconut forest.

Coming here, you have chance to row the basket boat to enjoy the tranquil atmosphere admire the revolutionary base of Hoi An in the past and use fishing tools to fish the field crab. Leaving this beautiful land with heroic traditions, you will be transferred to continue to ride bicycle for visiting Tra Que Vegetable Village far from Hoi An Ancient Town 3km.

You ride through peaceful villages and enjoy the beauty of countryside surrounding Hoi An. On arrival, you are welcomed with the friendly smiles and special drink; “E” water or local tea. Here is the chance for you to have a cooking class with the family. Under the instruction how to prepare ingredients, you will cook Hoi An special foods.  Have lunch at the family.

Pm: You will dress in farming clothes, take a short walk around to visit the garden where local farmers work and use the traditional methods without having electrical machines support. After that you are under the instruction of household; he will show you how to prepare and make the land, you fertilize green manure before growing vegetables.

Watering the vegetables, which you have just grown, is the last activity in the procedure of planting them. After that, you come back the house to relax by soaking your feet in Vietnamese herbs. This is one of the ways to refresh ourselves after the hard time in garden of Vietnamese. Then you be transferred back your hotel in Hoi An.

Day 5: Vietnam Cooking Class from Hue to Hoi An via Da Nang: HOIAN COOKING CLASS AT RED BRIDGE RESTAUTRANT ( B/L)

Am: At 7:45am our guide will pick up you at your hotel and take you to meeting point with welcome drink (non- alcoholic). Then visit colorful market in Hoi An and experience the amazing sights, sounds as well as aromas of this busy market. We will have the opportunity to interact with the local sellers and purchase some of the ingredients to be used in the cooking lesson later.

Then you’ll board the Red Bridge Boat for a leisurely cruise (25 minutes) along the Hoi An River to the Red Bridge Cooking School. This is a chance to view local river life, so make sure your camera is handy. On arrival, you will explore the cooking school’s herb and vegetable garden, before learning about some of Hoi An’s and Vietnam’s well-known dishes.

The cooking lesson runs for about 2 hours – each dish is first demonstrated by the Red Bridge chef’s, before we prepare the same dish ourselves. Included in the class is a brief introduction to Vietnamese food carving (plate decoration). After the lesson, we sit down and eat exactly what we have cooked. Recipes is including: Making fresh Rice paper, Fresh Rice Paper Rolls of Shrimp, Crispy Hoi An Pancakes with Shrimp, Herbs & a Peanut Sauce, Seafood Salad with mixed Vietnamese Herbs served in Half a Pineapple, Mi Quang Chicken Noodles, Food Decoration – Tomato Rose & Vietnamese Cucumber Hand Fan. After the lesson, we sit down and eat exactly what we have cooked. You will back hotel around 13:00. 

Day 06: Vietnam Cooking Class from Hue to Hoi An via Da Nang: HOIAN – DANANG – DEPARTURE  

Breakfast at hotel, you will be free till guide comes & picks you up to the airport for flight back home.
