10–DAY MAGNIFICENT SOUTHERN VIETNAM FAMILY TOUR

DAY 01: HO CHI MINH CITY ARRIVAL (B)

On arrival at Tan San Nhat Airport, you are met by our guide and transferred to hotel. The bustling Ho Chi Minh City, still called Saigon by many locals, is a center of commerce, finance, culture and tourism in Vietnam. This metropolis, contradiction of its northern counterpart, is crowded with bikes and motorbikes, excited by numerous shopping areas and sidewalk cafes. (If time permits) we stroll around the down town to explore the different local ways of life.

DAY 02: FULL DAY HO CHI MINH CITY & CU CHI TUNNELS PRIVATE TOUR (B/L)

Today we spend a half day exploring the captivating Ho Chi Minh City. The most places of interest are located near the town center. We pass by the now-demolished wartime American Embassy on our way to the Reunification Palace. This famous edifice was a former residence of the President of Southern Vietnam until end of April 1975. Close to the palace are some striking French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Sai Gon Post Office. We follow these with a visit to the Jade Emperor Pagoda and the War Remnant Museum with a wealth of images from the notorious conflicts. The sightseeing ends up with a walk around the retail Ben Thanh Market where anything and everything is for sale!

Afternoon: Transfer about 30km north-west of Ho Chi Minh City to Cu Chi town. Cu Chi tunnels were used as the base from which the Vietnamese mounted their operations of the Tet Offensive in 1968. The incredible underground network in Cu Chi stretched over 200 kilometres and became legendary during the American war. The extensive tunnels have been specially constructed with living areas, weapon factories, filed hospitals, command centres, plus accommodation. Today we have an excursion to Cu Chi Tunnels to visit an exposition hall and a widened section of the tunnels to get a feel of the underground life. There are also possibilities to fire off rounds from an AK47 or MK16 at the nearby rifle range.

DAY 03: HO CHI MINH CITY – MEKONG FULL-DAY (MY THO – BEN TRE) GROUP TOUR (B, L)

Breakfast at hotel.

Leaving the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City and start your trip to depart for My Tho, the town lies on the left side of the Mekong River. Upon arrival, visit Vinh Trang pagoda which sated back to the late 19^th century. Then boarding the sampan and cruising down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise islands.

Stop over at Unicorn Island, go walking around country lane and seeing orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, folk song music which performed by the local people. Visit the fruit plantation.

Riding a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal and treat yourself in the beauty of the countryside, visit the family business, visit honey-bee farm, enjoy honey tea and coconut candy workshop.

Have lunch at local restaurant. Break time.

In the afternoon, time for cycling around the Tan Thach village, meet the local villagers to experience the local daily life in the Mekong delta. Hammock relaxing and enjoy cool breeze for those can’t join the cycling trip. Return to Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 4: HO CHI MINH CITY – FLIGHT TO DA LAT (B)

Step back in time as you fly from the buzzing, modern city of Ho Chi Minh to Siem Reap.

Warmly welcome at Da Lat airport, you are met by our guide & driver and then transferred direct to hotel for check in.

DAY 5: DA LAT FULL-DAY TOUR (B/L)

After enjoying a hearty breakfast at your hotel in Da Lat, your full-day adventure begins at 8:30 am. You’ll be picked up from your accommodation and set off on a comprehensive tour of the city and its remarkable surroundings.

The first stop takes you to Robin Hill, where you’ll begin the renowned cable car ride, offering a unique perspective of the City of Flowers. The panoramic views from this elevated vantage point are truly breathtaking.

Continuing your journey, you’ll visit the Truc Lam Zen Monastery and Tuyen Lam Lake, immersing yourself in the serene atmosphere of these spiritual and natural havens.

Next on the agenda is a visit to the awe-inspiring Datanla Waterfall, a 20-meter-tall natural wonder located just outside the city. This picturesque spot is among the region’s most popular natural attractions.

Following the waterfall, you’ll explore the Clay Tunnel Dalat, a fascinating destination adorned with intriguing clay sculptures—a perfect opportunity for souvenir photos. Your culinary curiosity will also be satisfied at a local restaurant, where you can savor typical delicacies.

With renewed energy, you’ll embark on a jeep car journey (group joining) to Langbiang Mountain, famous for its impressive natural landscapes. Here, you’ll delve into the local lifestyle and traditions, gaining insights into the unique culture of the region.

The day’s adventure concludes with a visit to a hydroponic strawberry farm, offering a delightful experience of the city’s agricultural charm. Finally, you’ll be comfortably transported back to your Da Lat hotel by 4:30 pm. After check-in, the evening is yours to enjoy at leisure in Da Lat, where you can relax and relish the memories of your exciting day of exploration.

DAY 06:  DA LAT – TRANSFER TO NHA TRANG (B)

After a satisfying breakfast at your hotel, embark on a picturesque drive from Da Lat to Nha Trang, reveling in the changing landscapes of the Vietnamese countryside. Along the way, take advantage of opportunities to stop at local attractions, whether they be charming villages, scenic viewpoints, or cultural sites.

Upon reaching Nha Trang, a coastal paradise known for its pristine beaches, check into your accommodation and take some time to relax and rejuvenate. The afternoon is yours to explore Nha Trang at your leisure.

DAY 07: NHA TRANG FREE DAY (B)

Today, you are free to explore the beauty of Nha Trang by yourselves, or you may find these optional tours interesting:

 OPTIONAL TOUR 1: NHA TRANG BAY & ISLAND EXCURSION FULL DAY PRIVATE TOUR (L)

08h00: Pick you up at Hotel, depart to Cau Da port.

09h00: You will experience Nha Trang Bay with collection of small and large islands of many different shapes and amazing sights, sounds, and aromas of this busy port in the morning.

10 a.m.: On Corals Island, there are  more than 340 collections of over 800 species of hard corals in the world, the hang of this area is sanctuary of birds. At this point, you will have chance to  swim, discover many different species of lively fish, coral reef or view the ocean from Glass Bottom Boat (excluded fee).

 The Floating Fish-Farm is also interesting to be seen and Tranh Island with beautiful beach, enjoy fresh air. For water sport (excluded fee).

12h30: Have lunch at resrtaurant

14h00: Next visit is Ho Tam Resort ( Tam Island ), enjoy soaking mud bath and hot spring.

16h00: Back to Cau Da port. Return to hotel, end of the tour.

09:30: Visit the Oceanography Institute, the first marine research center in Vietnam, where you can capture a huge whale skeleton of 18 meter long. Next visit is  Bao Dai’s Palace, built in 1920s, are located on three hills south of city, and have brilliant views of Nha Trang Bay.

10:00: On the way to Long Son Pogoda, you will have chance to listen to the legendary town and take photos at 2-4 Square. At the Long Son Pogoda, you will learn about Vietnamese Buddhism, conquer the peak of 150 steps to the Buddha statue to take photos at Trai Thuy Hill.

After that, keep visiting Cham Ponagar tower, worship place of Thien Y Ana Mother of Cham people, find out the mystery history and life of the Cham. Traditional Cham dressing could be rent and one of their dances be taught (excluded expense).

12:30: Have lunch at a local restaurant.

14h00: Then you will relax and soak in hot spring at I resort Hot Mineral Spring Center (excluded mud bath ticket). Shopping at Dam Market.

16h30: Return to your hotel, end of the tour

DAY 08:  NHA TRANG: TRANSFER TO MUI NE (B)

Today, you say goodbye to the beautiful beaches of Nha Trang as you head towards the charming town of Mui Ne. Start your day with a nice breakfast to get ready for the trip. The drive to Mui Ne is full of pretty sights along the way, and you might have chances to stop and see interesting places in the Vietnamese countryside.

Once you reach Mui Ne, known for its amazing sand dunes and scenic views, check in to your place and take it easy for a bit. The rest of the day is all yours to relax or explore Mui Ne however you like. You can chill by the beach, check out the famous Red and White Sand Dunes, or enjoy some local food.

DAY 09:  MUI NE FREE DAY (B)

These days are free at your own pace. Sunbathing on sandy beach, swimming in emerald water, relaxing in the resort or enjoy some other activities as golfing, fishing, visiting sand dune….all are available nearby.

DAY 10:  MUI NE – HO CHI MINH CITY – DEPARTURE (B)

Free until transfer to the airport for onward flight.
