Day 1 – Sapa Homestay Trekking Tours to Lao Chai, Ta Van, Ban Ho : Sapa Trekking Tours – Lao chai Hiking Tours – Ta Van Homestay Tours – Ban Ho Homestay Trips (-/L/D)

Transfer 7 km by jeep to Lao chai & start walking down the vally to visit Lao chai of Black H’Mong people. Experiencing the richest traditional culture of Black H’Mong people in the region. Continue walking 2 hours to visit the Zay minority at Ta van where the jeep will be waiting to transfer 12 km long. Spend time to enjoy the picturesque scenery along the way , a mountainous area of stunning natural beauty and diverse ethnic minorities. We trek down the hill, enjoy the fantastic open views in Ban Ho the most beautiful valley in which we spent a night on the bamboo house of Tay people. In the afternoon go for a swim in the natural fresh pool near the waterfall.
Approx: 1 hour driving/ 5 hours trekking/ 1 hour lunch.

Day 2 – Sapa Homestay Trekking Tours to Lao Chai, Ta Van, Ban Ho : Ban ho Homestay Tours – Nam Toong Trekking – Nam ken Hiking Tour – Thanh phu Adventure Tours – Ban ho-Sapa. (B/L/-)

After breakfast you trek up to to the Red Dzao village at Nam Ken & Xa Pho the village of Xa Pho tribe the smallest group in Sapa who have very little contact with modern Vietnam.
We will trek up to Nam Toong, Nam Ken village of Red Zdao & Xa pho tribes. Lunch in Thanh phu then trekking to Ban ho where you will return to Sapa By Jeep.
Approx: 1 hour driving/ 5 hours trekking/ 1 hour lunch.

How do I pay for the trip?

Our standard payment policy is to ask for a 30% deposit of the package value at the time we send the final confirmation and the booking code for your trip. The balance of the total package tour price should be paid at least 21 days before starting date of the trip.

Is there any hidden cost? What about tipping?

No, all inclusions and exclusions are mentioned at our final confirmation for your trip. Generally, tipping is not compulsory. If you are satisfied with your guides, drivers, a small gratuity is an appropriate way in which to show appreciation to them.

How can I get Vietnam visa on arrival?

For those who travel with VIETLONG TRAVEL, we can arrange the visa approval letter allowing them to obtain a visa on arrival at Noibai Airport in Hanoi, Danang Airport in Danang, Tan San Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh. After 3-4 working days, we will send you the visa approval letter. We charge US$ 50 for visa on arrival at the airport. This fee is subject to change without prior notice.

How safe is Vietnam?

Vietnam is a relatively safe country to visit but there are increasing instances of theft, especially in HCMC where pickpockets and snatch thieves on motorbikes are common. The best tip is to be vigilant at all times. Leave all valuables at home, and make sure you have a firm grip on cameras and shoulder bags at all times. Our guides will advise you on dos and don'ts case by case.

What about medical insurance?

It is advised that travelers should have medical insurance before arriving in Vietnam. Although there are several international medical clinics in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, generally the country still lacks adequate medical care for serious illnesses and injuries. We advise travelers to have sufficient cover for emergency medical care as a precautionary measure.
