Ban-Ho-Sapa1-300x225 SAPA TOUR TO BAN HO, SIN CHAI, THANH PHU VILLAGES
Trekking to Ban Ho Village

We will be picked up at Lao Cai train station and then go for breakfast at a local restaurant. We then drive up to Sapa before heading south by Russian Jeep on the dirt road towards Su Pan (a village that is home to a minority tribe), where we arrive one hour later. Our journey will provide us with some spectacular views over the Sa Pa valley with its terraced rice fields and the Fan Si Pan peak.

We then go down into the Tay village of Ban Ho, where we enjoy a refreshing swim in the river, before having lunch in a local house. In the afternoon, we trek along the western slope of the valley until we reach the village of Xafo.

We will stay here overnight in a beautiful bamboo stilt house, socializing with the inhabitants. There are only about 300-400 members of the Xafo minority, making it one of the smallest minority communities in Vietnam…and also one of the most distinct and interesting!
Approx: 0,5 hour driving/ 5 hours trekking/ 1 hour lunch

Day 2 – Sapa Homestay Trekking Tours to Ban Ho, Sin Chai, Thanh Phu : Nam Sai Package Tours – Sin Chai Travel Packages (B/L/D)

After breakfast, we start our descent to the bottom of the valley, where we cross the river by suspension bridge. We then climb again passing through the Red Dao village of Nam Sai, before continuing up to another Red Dao village named Nam Nhu, where we will enjoy our lunch, whilst watching curious children at play.

In the early afternoon we cross a pass to another valley where we will stay overnight in bamboo huts in the Red Dao village of Sin Chai. Our dinner is prepared and spent in a local house. There are three generations living in the house and everyone is very welcoming and eager to talk to you – obviously with a helping hand from the guide!

It is also worth noting that the grandfather is well reputed for his homemade rice wine and is more than happy to share a glass with his visitors!  Approx: 6 hours trekking/ 1 hour lunch
