DAY 01:  HANOI ARRIVAL – WATER PUPPET SHOW (-/-/-)

On arrival at Noi Bai Airport, you are met by our guide and transferred to hotel for a check-in.

Tonight, there will be a “water puppet show” arranged for you to attend. Water puppetry “puppets that dance on water” is a tradition that dates back as far as the 11th century when it originated in the villages of the Red River Delta area of northern Vietnam. Today’s Vietnamese water puppetry is a unique variation on the ancient Asian puppet tradition.

DAY 02: HANOI – OUTING EXPERIENCES AT TRAM TUE WITH ZEN PRACTICES – AGARWOOD: TRADITIONAL TEA CEREMONY – ½ DAY HANOI CITY TOUR (B/L)

After having breakfast at hotel, our private van will transport you to explore the Ho Chi Minh complex. You’ll have the opportunity to stroll around Ba Dinh square and explore President Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house, which served as his residence intermittently from 1958 to 1969. Moving on, we’ll visit the One Pillar Pagoda, a distinctive structure comprising a pagoda and a tower situated in the center of a square pond. We’ll then depart from the One Pillar Pagoda and head to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s inaugural Confucian college.

Our guide will take you over Nhat Tan bridge to Đông Anh – the suburb of Hanoi to visit a great Zen place named Tram Tue being run by a true Buddhist which is known as a Non-Profit Buddha Enterprise. This “Tram Tue” is just located right on the bank of Red river with peaceful surroundings & also one of the first Buddhist companies applying Buddha doctrines in the business as well as seeding / enlightening quintessences of Buddha doctrines/nature into the normal life of local communities. This amazing Zen school is also attracting lots of Foreign Ambassadors to experience meditation courses, traditional high-class tea ceremonies as well as the ecosystem of Agarwood’s products … in the weekends. And there will be some following activities.

=>  Attending an introduction course with CEO (a Buddhist) of the company to know more about the history – culture, vision & mission

=> Learning about the Worshiping Space of Buddha’s Three Treasures – also Zen/Meditation Center

=> Visiting Ecosystem of Agarwood’s Products as well as High-Class teas (Hundred-year-old teas of Vietnam).

Then you will take a visit to Bat Trang, which is known for its high-quality ceramic products, including tableware, decorative items, and custom-made pottery. Once you arrive in Bat Trang, take your time to explore the village. Visit pottery workshops, observe artisans at work, and browse the wide selection of ceramic products available for purchase. You might try your hand at pottery making under the guidance of skilled artisans. It’s a fun and interactive way to learn about the traditional craft and create your own unique souvenir to take home.

Back to hotel & you’ll be free to explore the beauty of Hanoi by yourself.

DAY 03: HANOI – TU LE – KHAU PHA PASS – MU CANG CHAI (B/L/D)

Begin your day with a hearty breakfast at your hotel in Hanoi. Following this, embark on a journey to Mu Cang Chai, where our team will pick you up and ensure a comfortable transfer. Enroute, take a break to explore the picturesque Thanh Son tea hills, soaking in the tranquil beauty of the surroundings.

Continue your scenic drive to Tu Le, passing through the awe-inspiring Khau Pha Pass, a route celebrated for its breathtaking and spectacular vistas in Northern Vietnam. Upon reaching Mu Cang Chai, be prepared to be captivated by the enchanting landscape of terraced rice fields in La Pan Tan.

To conclude your day, settle into the welcoming atmosphere of a homestay in Mu Cang Chai, where you can unwind and appreciate the unique charm of this region.

DAY 04: MU CANG CHAI – SAPA – CAT CAT VILLAGES (B/L/D)

Our day begins with a delightful breakfast at your homestay in the picturesque Mu Cang Chai. The day’s adventure kicks off with a visit to the iconic Horse Hill/Mam Xoi Hill, where you can immerse yourself in the unique experience amidst the stunning landscapes.

You will visit one local school and take the opportunity to interact with students and teachers during your visit. You can ask questions about the curriculum, teaching methods, and daily life at the school. Engaging in conversations can provide valuable insights into the local education system and culture.

DAY 05: SAPA – LAO CHAI – TA VAN TREKKING TOUR – SAPA (B/L)

Breakfast at your hotel. Then you will depart for your trekking adventure.

A short drive through the rice terraces and along Muong Hoa Stream to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai to see the spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son Mountain. You approach Ta Van village where Dzay Ethnic People inhabits in late afternoon.

You will also drop in to the Lao Chai Primary School to visit and interact with the students.

If you wish to show appreciation for the school’s hospitality, consider bringing small gifts or donations. School supplies, books, or educational materials are often appreciated.

Trekking distance is about 9 kms and it lasts for 3.5 hours

17.45: Back the hotel. Spend time to enjoy the mountain life on Sunset. You may attend cooking local dishes with the family and enjoy dinner in peace.

In the evening, you can join the local bar nearby with music and socialize with other tourists then overnight at homestay.

DAY 06: SAPA FREE DAY – BACK TO HANOI (B)

After breakfast in hotel, you are free to explore the beauty of Sapa by yourselves until we pick you up and transfer back to Hanoi.

OPTIONAL TOUR : FANSIPAN CABLE 2 WAYS ½ DAY PRIVATE TOUR

Today, driver & tour guide take you to Cable Car Station and spend 20 minutes with cable car to enjoy the spectacular scenery.

Reaching the altitute of 2800 meters, you have a good time to see the view and take photos, visit pagoda the spiritual destinations and trek up to 600 steps you will reach the peak of Fansipan – the Roof of Indochina. (Spend about 1,5 hours for hiking and taking photos).

Then, Coming back to Cable Car Station and return to Sapa town.

After visiting Fansipan, you will be transferred back to Hanoi.

DAY 07: HA NOI – HA LONG BAY (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel.

08:00  Pick up at Old Quarter area to transfer from Hanoi to Halong Bay (if the package is included transfer service).

11:30  Your first stop on arrival at Tuan Chau Island is the Cruise check-in lounge. You will have time to refresh yourself after the long drive from Hanoi and wait for checking-in.

12:15  After taken to Cruise, you will be checked in. While enjoying welcome drink, you will be introduced the itinerary and safety briefing by Cruise Manager.

13:00  You will have a delicious lunch and enjoy the stunning views when the boat cruises towards the southeast of Halong Bay, passing Fighting- Cock and Finger Islet.

14:45  Visiting Luon Cave or Pearl Farm area by bamboo boat or kayaking.

16:00  You are going to Titov Island – where you can go swimming or hiking to the top for another stunning, panoramic view of the Bay

18:30  If you are interested in Vietnamese cuisines, please join our traditional Vietnamese cooking class on sundeck under the experienced Chef’s guiding (or in the restaurant in case of inclement weather).

19:00  Delight in the shimmering atmosphere of thousands of stars while eating a fantastic, expertly prepared dinner.

20:30  This is the perfect time for you to relax with spa treatments or enjoy a cocktail. Besides, we provide free for squid fishing tools at reception.

Overnight at Cruise.

DAY 08: HA LONG BAY – HA NOI (B/L)

06:00  Warm up your day with a Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck with a breathtaking view as the sun rises on Halong Bay.

07:00  Light breakfast is served at the restaurant.

08:00 Your next stop is the magnificent Sung Sot Cave, one of the biggest caves in Ha Long Bay with beautiful stalactites. You will be surprised by the breathtaking panoramic view across the Bay once you exit the cave as well as the stalactites and stalagmites formed over millions of years which have taken on fascinating shapes.

09:30  Back on board, check-out and return to Tuan Chau Island

10:00  Brunch is served at the restaurant and payment

10:45  Disembark at Tuan Chau Marina, return to Hanoi.16:00: Arrive in Hanoi. End of the trip!

DAY 09: HANOI—MORNING FLIGHT TO HUE – HALF DAY HUE WALKING CTY PRIVATE TOUR (B)

After breakfast at the hotel, step back in time as you fly from the buzzing, modern city of Hanoi to Hue.

Note: The local guide for airport drop-off will be quoted separately if you have further request.

FLIGHT TRANSFER

Upon arrival at Hue Airport, our team will welcome you on arrival and transfer to check in your hotel. Take a short relax and you’re ready for half day in Hue City. You are free to go shopping at Dong Ba Market – a must-visit place to gain insights into the daily life of local people here. Take a boat trip along Perfume River to visit Thien Mu pagoda – the oldest pagoda in the city, and admire its ancient architectures. Continue with a visit to the Imperial City where Nguyen Dynasty’s Emperor and royal family worked and lived from the year 1802 to 1945 including many palaces and architectures: Noon Gate, Thai Hoa Palace, Purple Forbidden City, Nine Dynastic Urns, etc.

DAY 10: HUE ½ DAY PRIVATE CITY TOUR – PRIVATE TRANSFER TO HOI AN (B/L)

AM: After breakfast at hotel, we will drop in Quoc Hoc Hue to explore the historic grounds. The architecture of the buildings and the tranquil atmosphere provide a glimpse into Vietnam’s rich cultural heritage. It was the first and oldest high school in Vietnam, Quoc Hoc (National high school) was originally the school for children from royal and noble families.

Established in 1896, after more than 100-year history, several Vietnamese political leaders are alumni of the school, including: Nguyen Tat Thanh (President Ho Chi Minh), General Vo Nguyen Giap, Prime Minister Pham Van Dong, etc. In addition, the school is famed for its students who are well-known poets (Xuan Dieu, Huy Can, To Huu, Luu Trong Lu), scientists (Ta Quang Buu, Ton That Tung, Dang Van Ngu), musicians (Tran Hoan, Chau Ky, Nguyen Van Thuong), or sculptor Diem Phung Thi. Don’t forget your camera! Quoc Hoc Hue’s picturesque architecture and serene surroundings offer plenty of photo opportunities.

Transfer to visit Khai Dinh Mausoleum – one of the famous tombs to admire its unique architecture influenced by Oriental and Western styles. Then transfer to pay a visit Minh Mang or Tu Duc Mausoleum and discover the traditional styles in the architecture and surroundings with a peaceful atmosphere.

PM: Leave Hue city for Hoi An. Check in your hotel and relax.

DAY 11: HOI AN – HALF DAY LEARNING FARMING & COOKING IN TRA QUE VILLAGE TOUR IN PRIVATE (B/L)

Breakfast at hotel. In this early morning, our guide welcomes you at the hotel in Hoi An and start to cycle to Tra Que Vegetable Village 3km from Hoi An Ancient Town. Along the road are villages and beautiful countryside. On arrival, you are welcomed with the friendly smiles and special drink: “E” water or local tea. You will dress in farming clothes, take a short walk around to visit the garden where local farmers work and use the traditional methods without having electrical machines support.

After that you are under the instruction of household; he will show you how to prepare and make the land, you fertilize green manure before growing vegetables. Watering the vegetables, which you have just grown, is the last activity in the procedure of planting them. After that, you come back the house to relax by soaking your feet in Vietnamese herbs. This is one of the ways to refresh ourselves after the hard working time on the farm of Vietnamese. Here is the chance for you to join a cooking class with the family. Under the instruction how to prepare ingredients, you will cook Hoi An special foods. Have lunch at the family. Then you will be transferred back your hotel in Hoi An and end tour.

DAY 12: HOIAN – DANANG– FLIGHT TO HO CHI MINH CITY – ½ DAY HO CHI MINH CITY TOUR (B)

Breakfast at hotel. You have free time to have more experience in HOIAN until be transferred to the Danang airport to catch a flight to Ho Chi Minh city.

FLIGHT TRANSFER

On arrival at Tan San Nhat Airport, you are met by our guide and transferred to hotel.

In the afternoon, we spend a half day exploring the captivating Ho Chi Minh City. The most places of interest are located near the town center. We pass by the now-demolished wartime American Embassy on our way to the Reunification Palace. This famous edifice was a former residence of the President of Southern Vietnam until end of April 1975.

Close to the palace are some striking French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Sai Gon Post Office. We follow these with a visit to the Jade Emperor Pagoda and the War Remnant Museum with a wealth of images from the notorious conflicts. The sightseeing ends up with a walk around the retail Ben Thanh Market where anything and everything is for sale!

DAY 13: HO CHI MINH CITY – MEKONG FULL-DAY (MY THO – BEN TRE) PRIVATE TOUR (B, L)

Breakfast at hotel.

Leaving the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City and start your trip to depart for My Tho, the town lies on the left side of the Mekong River. Upon arrival, visit Vinh Trang pagoda which sated back to the late 19th century. Then boarding the sampan and cruising down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise islands.

Stop over at Unicorn Island, go walking around country lane and seeing orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, folk song music which performed by the local people. Visit the fruit plantation.

Riding a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal and treat yourself in the beauty of the countryside, visit the family business, visit honey-bee farm, enjoy honey tea and coconut candy workshop.

Have lunch at local restaurant. Break time.

In the afternoon, time for cycling around the Tan Thach village, meet the local villagers to experience the local daily life in the Mekong delta. Hammock relaxing and enjoy cool breeze for those can’t join the cycling trip. Return to Ho Chi Minh City.
