DAY 1: 2-Day Halong Bay Tour on Signature Cruise : HANOI – HALONG BAY – OVERNIGHT ON CRUISE

– Your transfer vehicle will collect you from your hotel in Hanoi and convey you to Halong City. You will be taken on our excursion boat from the wharf and make your way out onto the bay to board our luxurious craft, Signature Cruise Halong Bay.

– You will be welcomed aboard and greeted with a complimentary drink. Our Crew will conduct a compulsory safety procedures session and then you are free to check into your cabin and freshen up. Take some time to have a look around the vessel or watch the magical landscape go by.

– As we begin to cruise through the bay a special lunch of fresh seafood and an assortment of appetizing favorites will be served. Dining on a luxury junk with fine food and drinks doesn’t come much better than this. You won’t get a better view in most restaurants around the world.

– After lunch we set sail for Bai Tu Long Bay passing the towns of Hon Gai and Cam Pha, extraordinary limestone karst landscapes, Oan Lagoon, Teapot and Monster Head Islets. Explore Vung Vieng fishing village by local rowing boats or kayaks to discover the interesting daily lives of its inhabitants. Signature Cruise Halong Bay will stay close to Hang Trong Islet for the evening.

– Our Vietnamese cooking class is a great way to learn how to prepare delicious appetizers and our expert chef will guide you through the process. Dinner tonight is a scrumptious a la carte delight with a range of different options guaranteed to please everyone’s palette.

– Witness an unforgettable sunset over the bay and layback on the sun deck for some splendid star gazing. Relax with an exotic cocktail or whatever takes your fancy. Our bar has a wide range or wines, beers and liquors from around the world and is always a welcome sight for guests after a day on Halong Bay. Our onboard amenities and recreation activities are next to none. Try a specialized massage in our spa.

DAY 2 : 2-Day Halong Bay Tour on Signature Cruise : HALONG BAY – HANOI

– The nicest time of the day on Halong Bay is the morning. Head to the upper deck to participate in our daily Tai Chi sessions. Relax with an early morning cup of tea, coffee or juice anywhere you wish on the boat and watch the never ending miraculous scenery unfold before you.

– Enjoy our buffet breakfast. It is one of the best, if not the best in the region and our guests are always satisfied. We provide a wide variety of breakfast favorites and we are sure there will be something for you no matter what your preference is.

– After breakfast we board the excursion boat for a side trip to Surprise Cave (Sung Sot). The 100 stair climb is well worth the extraordinary views this grotto worn over millions of years into a lime stone karst.

– Back onboard it is time to check out of your cabin as we draw closer to the mainland. After a final early lunch and a last goodbye from our crew, you will board our excursion boat and head back to the wharf where you will be met by your return trip vehicle to transfer you to Hanoi. How do I create a custom itinerary?

In our website we provide over hundred tour samples but if you do not find a suitable trip, and want Vietlong Travel to do all the work for you, just click on the customized trip and fill up the form to tell us what you have in mind. How do I book the trip?

To book our trip, please select your preferred trip and click on "Enquiry Now" on the web page. Our travel consultant will contact you within 24 hours to confirm your booking details.

How do I pay for the trip?

Our standard payment policy is to ask for a 30% deposit of the package value at the time we send the final confirmation and the booking code for your trip. The balance of the total package tour price should be paid at least 21 days before starting date of the trip.

Is there any hidden cost? What about tipping?

No, all inclusions and exclusions are mentioned at our final confirmation for your trip. Generally, tipping is not compulsory. If you are satisfied with your guides, drivers, a small gratuity is an appropriate way in which to show appreciation to them.

How can I get Vietnam visa on arrival?

For those who travel with VIETLONG TRAVEL, we can arrange the visa approval letter allowing them to obtain a visa on arrival at Noibai Airport in Hanoi, Danang Airport in Danang, Tan San Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh. After 3-4 working days, we will send you the visa approval letter. We charge US$ 50 for visa on arrival at the airport. This fee is subject to change without prior notice.

How safe is Vietnam?

Vietnam is a relatively safe country to visit but there are increasing instances of theft, especially in HCMC where pickpockets and snatch thieves on motorbikes are common. The best tip is to be vigilant at all times. Leave all valuables at home, and make sure you have a firm grip on cameras and shoulder bags at all times. Our guides will advise you on dos and don'ts case by case.

What about medical insurance?

It is advised that travelers should have medical insurance before arriving in Vietnam. Although there are several international medical clinics in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, generally the country still lacks adequate medical care for serious illnesses and injuries. We advise travelers to have sufficient cover for emergency medical care as a precautionary measure.

The Sales manager was in contact with us all the time and promptly for our acceptable length of 13 days; ensuring everything was going well. Our stay and guide in Cambodia was exceptional even though we chose the 3-4 star option. Hoi An was amazing with a hotel with first class service and room; even though we arranged most of our activities prior before leaving home. The guide was kind and made good recommendations for the tailors and additional activities. The hotels in Saigon and Hanoi were conveniently located to the old town and night markets and the company included adequate activites in these two busy cities. The highlights of our tour with exceptional guides for the provided tours were Angkor Wat in Siem Reap and Halong Bay on Hanoi and the Saigon Cu Chi tunnels and City tour. Excellent tour guides who were friendly and knowledgeable. Great to have private car and guide for all activities and the tour guide was able to tailor the activity to our needs and wishes. The young type guide we had for the walking tour of Hanoi was brilliant. He was so pleasant to talk with and so knowledgeable and did everything he could to make the tour memorable including lending me his jacket to cover my shoulders when going in to Ho Chi Minh mausoleum as I had worn a sleeveless top. Another guide sorted out an internal flight for us when it's had been cancelled and got us through priority so we could catch it. Altogether very well organised and good communication throughout. Thank you. Would certainly recommend.
