Experience first-hand one of the most ancient capitals in the world, where travelers can find well-preserved colonial buildings, ancient pagodas, and unique museums within the city centre, and then discover some World Heritage Areas in Vietnam such as: Halong Bay, Hoian Ancient Town. Towards Southern Vietnam will bring us different feelings with Ho Chi Minh city – the most dizzying, high-octane city of commerce and culture that has driven the country forward with its pulsating energy, and touring the orchards, paddy fields and swamplands of the Mekong Delta.
After a short flight to Myanmar a must-see for travelers who like Buddha and beaches, we continue visiting Yangon – the largest city of Myanmar, and take a cruise on Inle lake to visit small workshops in stilt villages of the Intha, several pagodas and probably a market, where fishermen propelling their boats using a distinctive leg-rowing technique, and other Intha residents of the lake tending to fruit and vegetables on floating gardens. Another attractions in Myanmar is Bagan with thousands of temples, stupas and pagodas remain, including the famous Ananda temple with its sparkling gold spires.

DAY 1: Best Highlights of Vietnam & Myanmar Tour : ARRIVAL HANOI
Upon arrival at Noibai Airport, you’ll be met by our tour guide & transferred to your hotel in Hanoi for a Check-in.

7:30 – 08:30: Our SHUTTLE BUS with tour guide will pick you up at your hotels (Note: This pick-up is just applied for those who use our shuttle bus service)
10h30: Stopover in Hai Duong city where you can experience our hand-made Vietnamese handicraft products.
12h30: Arrive in Tuan Chau Marina Pier (Tuan Chau Island). Followed by activities:
+ Boarding FLAMINGO CRUISEs for departure.

DAY 3: Best Highlights of Vietnam & Myanmar Tour : HALONG BAY – HANOI (B/L)
06:15: Tai Chi class on the Sun-deck.
07:15: Have breakfast with Coffee, tea and Bakeries on board.
08:00: Visit the SURPRISING CAVE (Hang Sung Sot) discovered by the French in 1901. Opened for tourists since 1936, now it is a must-to-see and a symbol for geology value of Halong.
09:30: Check out time. Then relax on the sun-deck or inside the restaurant to enjoy the bay’s scenery.
10h15: Enjoying a traditional Vietnamese lunch while cruising back to the pier.
12:00: Disembarkation at Tuan Chau Pier. Our car will be at your disposal to pick you up then drive back to Hanoi.
16:00: Arrive in Hanoi. End of the trip!

DAY 4: Best Highlights of Vietnam & Myanmar Tour : HANOI HALF DAY CITY WALKING TOUR – FLIGHT TO DANANG – HOIAN (B)

From your hotel, we take you to visit Ho Chi Minh complex, walking around Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum – the final resting place of Vietnamese great father or Uncle Ho, President Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house – where Ho lived on and off from 1958 to 1969…
The next place is One Pillar Pagoda a group of structures consisting of a pagoda and a tower built in the middle of a square pond. Leave One Pillar Pagoda for the Temple of Literature the first college of Viet Nam dedicated to Confucian. Back to Hoan Kiem Lake and have a stopover with Ngoc Son Temple
Afternoon: Free time by your own for leisure & shopping. After that, you are transferred to Noibai airport for a flight to Danang on VN187L (2045:2205)
On arrival at Danang airport, you will be greeted by our guide and driven to Hoian Hotel for checking in.

Day 5 : Best Highlights of Vietnam & Myanmar Tour : HOIAN – LEARNING FISHING – FARMING & COOKING CLASS TOUR FULL DAY
Am: In this early morning, our guide welcomes you at the hotel in Hoi An and takes you to Cam Nam fishing village to learn fishing for more experience under the instruction of the local people. You will practice by yourselves how to catch fish, how to cast the net into the river…Then you will visit green Bay Mau water coconut forest. Coming here, you have chance to row the basket boat to enjoy the tranquil atmosphere admire the revolutionary base of Hoi An in the past and use fishing tools to fish for field crabs.
Leaving this beautiful land with heroic traditions, you will be transferred to continue to ride a bicycle for visiting Tra Que Vegetable Village, an ancient town 3km from Hoi An. You ride through peaceful villages and enjoy the beauty of countryside surrounding Hoi An. On arrival, you are welcomed with the friendly smiles and special drink; “E” water or local tea. Here is the chance for you to have a cooking class with the family. Under the instruction how to prepare ingredients, you will cook Hoi An special foods. Have lunch with the family.
Pm: You will dress in farming clothes, take a short walk around to visit the garden where local farmers work and use the traditional methods without having the support of electrical support. Next, you will enjoy cooking class with family. After that you are under the instruction of household; he will show you how to prepare and make the land, you fertilize green manure before growing vegetables.
Watering the vegetables, which you have just grown, is the last activity in the procedure of planting them. After that, you come back the house to relax by soaking your feet in Vietnamese herbs. This is one of the ways to refresh yourself after working in Vietnamese garden. Then you will be transferred back your hotel in Hoi An.

On arrival in Saigon, you are met and transferred to hotel for check in.
The bustling Ho Chi Minh City, still called Saigon by many locals, is a center of commerce, finance, culture and tourism in Vietnam. This metropolis, contradiction of its northern counterpart, is crowded with bikes and motorbikes, exciting, numerous shopping areas and sidewalk cafes. (If time permits) we stroll around the down town to explore the different local ways of life.

DAY 8: HO CHI MINH CITY – MEKONG DELTA FULLDAY DELUXE TOUR IN GROUP (B/L)

Highlight: A trip to Mekong Delta to immerse yourself in the natural beauty and the rich culture of the vibrant southern Delta region. Boating down the river to experience the local life, fishing port, fishing floating house, enjoy the local folk song music and seasonal fresh fruit. Itinerary: Leaving the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City and start your trip to depart for My Tho, the town lies on the left side of the Mekong River. Board a sampan and cruising down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands.
Stop over at Unicorn Island, go walking around country lanes and see orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, folk song music which performed by the local people. Visit the fruit plantation. Riding a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal and treat yourself in the beauty of the countryside, visit the family business, visit honey-bee farm, enjoy honey tea and coconut candy workshop. Have lunch at local restaurant. Break time. In the afternoon, time for cycling around the Tan Thach village, meet the local villagers to experience the local daily life in the Mekong delta. Hammock relaxing and enjoy cool breeze for those can’t join the cycling trip. Return to Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 9: SAIGON HALF-DAY SIGHTSEEING TOUR + CU CHI TUNNELS – CRUISE DINNER (B/-/D)
Today we spend a half day exploring the captivating Ho Chi Minh City. The most places of interest are located near the town center. We pass by the now-demolished wartime American Embassy on our way to the Reunification Palace. This famous edifice was a former residence of the President of Southern Vietnam until end of April 1975. Close to the palace are some striking French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Sai Gon Post Office. We follow these with a visit to the Jade Emperor Pagoda and the War Remnant Museum with a wealth of images from the notorious conflicts. The sightseeing ends up with a walk around the retail Ben Thanh Market where anything and everything is for sale!
Afternoon: Transfer about 30km north-west of Ho Chi Minh City to Cu Chi town. Cu Chi tunnels were used as the base from which the Vietnamese mounted their operations of the Tet Offensive in 1968. The incredible underground network in Cu Chi stretched over 200 kilometres and became legendary during the American war.
The extensive tunnels were specially constructed with living areas, weapon factories, filed hospitals, command centres, plus accommodation. Today we have an excursion to Cu Chi Tunnels to visit an exposition hall and a widened section of the tunnels to get a feel of the underground life. There are also possibilities to fire off rounds from an AK47 or MK16 at the nearby rifle range.

DAY 10: HO CHI MINH CITY – FLIGHT TO YANGON (B)
After breakfast, you are free till transfer to Tan San Nhat airport for a flight to Yangon on VN943T (0820:0955)
On arrival, you will be welcomed by local guide and will escort you to the hotel for checking in.

Day 11: Best Highlights of Vietnam & Myanmar Tour : Yangon – Half-Day City Tour (B/-/-)
Your guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel to embark on this half day of sightseeing.
Head to the heart of downtown, where East meets West with a mix of pagodas, monuments and colonial buildings. Walk around Sule Pagoda, City Hall, Victory Monument and some of the nearby colonial buildings.
Continue to a local tea shop for a chance to experience an integral part of Burmese life: drinking tea! Select from an array of snacks and enjoy a coffee or tea as you sit amid businessmen, friends and families who gather at the tea shop to socialize or conduct business.
Next your guided tour goes to Kandawagyi Park, one of central Yangon’s greenest spots. Here you will see the glittering Karaweik barge, a replica of the royal barge, and the vast lake with views of Shwedagon in the background. Depending on the day of your visit Kandawgyi may be busy with local families who come here on the weekend to relax in the fresh air.
From here, continue to Shwedagon Pagoda the most revered Buddhist temple in Myanmar. Although the origins of the pagoda are unclear, the local legend states that the original structure was built 2500 years ago then renovated several times until taking its current shape in the 15th century.
The 8-sided central stupa is 99 meters tall and gilded with gold leaf and is surrounded by 64 smaller stupas and your guide will show you around the massive complex, explaining why this temple is so revered. Enjoy breathtaking views of the golden stupa from this vantage point.
DAY 12: YANGON – FLIGHT TO HEHOE – INLE LAKE (B)
After having breakfast at hotel, you’ll be at leisure till transferred to Yangon airport for a morning departure flight to Heho (Note: The morning flights could be swapped amongst different local airlines such as Air KBZ 828, Golden Myanmar Airlines, Asian Wings Airways, Myanma 113, Myanmar 109).
Upon landing at the airport, you will get to Nyaung Shwe and from here, our car will pick up and drop to you to jetty to take your boat and transfer to your hotel for a check-in.
In the afternoon, you’ll be free on your own to experience the beauties surrounding your hotel in Inle Lake.

Day 13 : Best Highlights of Vietnam & Myanmar Tour : Inle Lake Half-Day Sightseeing Tour (B/-/-)
After breakfast at hotel, you will enjoy fullday tour to Inle Lake. Upon reaching the edges of Inle Lake, board a private motorboat to head out to Inle Lake, one of Myanmar’s most spectacular sights. Pass villages built on stilts over the lake, inhabited by the local Intha people. Observe the leg-rowing fishermen and see their floating gardens built up from strips of water hyacinth and mud and anchored to the bottom with bamboo poles.
Visit Nga Hpe Chaung Monastery, which houses dozens of Shan Buddha Images, but is more famous for its unique ‘jumping cats’ who jump through hoops in the air! Continue to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the lake’s main sanctuary, which contains five sacred Buddha images covered in gold leaf.
Explore the local crafts of Inle Lake with a stop at the weaving village of Inpawkhone and a cheroot factory, where the typical Burmese cigars are made by hand.
If time permits, there may be time to enjoy a short walk through one of the lakeside villages.
Day 14: Best Highlights of Vietnam & Myanmar Tour : Inle Lake – Bagan by Daytime Bus (B/-/-)
After having breakfast at hotel, you’ll be transferred by boat and car without guide to the bus station for a daytime bus leaving to Bagan. Normally the bus will take at least 7 – 8 hours to get to Bagan, en route you’ll have chances to experience the “window tours” with nice & peaceful coun trysides, villages, the locals…and there will be stopovers for you to enjoy coffee breaks, restrooms & taste the local foods (No Car & No Guide).

FULL DAY BAGAN TOUR
Today explore the wonders of Bagan with a full-day tour. From the 11th to 13th centuries, when Bagan was the capital of Myanmar, the rulers of constructed thousands of huge stupas and temples many of which are still standing today on the banks of the Irrawaddy River.
Your journey begins with a visit to the golden stupa of Shwezigon Pagoda for an introduction in to Bagan’s rich history. Then, visit to nearby Wetkyi-In Gubyaukgyi, a cave temple with exquisite jataka mural paintings and the elegant Htilominlo Temple noted for its fine plaster carvings and glazed sandstone decorations.
This afternoon begin with a visit to Ananda Temple, an architectural masterpiece and one of Bagan’s most beautiful temples. Built in the early Mon-style, Ananda contains two unique Buddha images whose expressions seem to change depending on the distance from which the statue is viewed. Neighboring Ananda Okkyaung is one of the few surviving brick monasteries from the early Bagan period and is filled with intricate paintings.
From here, travel by horse cart for a tour passing Thatbyinnyu, the highest temple in Bagan, massive Dhammayangyi Temple, noted for its remarkable brickwork, and Sulamani Temple.
Time permitting, enjoy an unforgettable sunset over the plains from the upper terrace of one of the temples.
