DAY 01 : ARRIVAL – SIEM REAP

Warmly welcome at Siem Reap International airport, you are met by our guide & driver and then transferred direct to hotel for check in.

DAY 02 : SIEM REAP –ANGKOR TOUR (B/-/-)

Breakfast at hotel, you’ll be at leisure a bit and then:

08:00 hrs : Our car with tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and transfer to South Gate of Angkor Thom.

Walk through the South Gate of Angkor Thom via the Naga Bridge, taking some photos.

Walk from South Gate of Angkor Thom to Bayon temple via the big trees, play with monkeys (be careful with your things as monkey might try to take it away from you)

Visit to Bayon Temple and walk to Baphuon, Elephant Terrance, Leper King Terrace and the Royal Enclosure

13:00 hrs: You’ll be driven to ANGKOR WAT Temple area

Visit to Angkor Wat Temple until sunset

17:30 hrs: Our car with guide will bring you back to hotel for the night

DAY 03 : SIEM REAP (B)

DAY 04:  SIEM REAP – PHNOM PENH by Giant Bus (B)

Transfer to Siem Reap bus station for the express bus to Phnompenh (roughly 7 hours)

15:00 Arrival in Phnom Penh bus station

You will be then met and transfer to the hotel

After that, you are free to visit to the Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda, located within the grounds of the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda is so named because of  its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles or Genocide Museum or S21, the former Tuol Svay Prey High School which the Khmer Rouge set up a prison at this site in May 1976, to detain individual accused of opposing the Pol Pot regime, and was Angkar’s premier security institution, the Killing Field of Choeung Ek.

DAY 05 : PHNOM PENH – SAIGON by bus (B)

Transfer to Phnom Penh bus station or airport for departure to Saigon

Note: At the moment, there is only a bus transfer costing at 80USD per person including covid test and bus ticket. That’s why we strongly recommend guests to get a flight from Phnom Penh to Ho Chi Minh city instead. You can manage booking this otherwise we can help upon your request.

Once the Giant Ibis or similar bus transfer has normal rate, we will keep you updated.

On arrival at Saigon, you are met and transferred to hotel for check in.

The bustling Ho Chi Minh City, still called Saigon by many locals, is a center of commerce, finance, culture and tourism in Vietnam. This metropolis, contradiction of its northern counterpart, is crowded with bikes and motorbikes, excited by numerous shopping areas and sidewalk cafes. (If time permits) we stroll around the down town to explore the different local ways of life.

DAY 06: SAIGON HALF-DAY CITY TOUR + CU CHI TUNNELS (B)

Today we spend a half day exploring the captivating Ho Chi Minh City. The most places of interest are located near the town center. We pass by the now-demolished wartime American Embassy on our way to the Reunification Palace. This famous edifice was a former residence of the President of Southern Vietnam until end of April 1975. Close to the palace are some striking French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Sai Gon Post Office. We follow these with a visit to the Jade Emperor Pagoda and the War Remnant Museum with a wealth of images from the notorious conflicts. The sightseeing ends up with a walk around the retail Ben Thanh Market where anything and everything is for sale!

Afternoon: Transfer about 30km north-west of Ho Chi Minh City to Cu Chi town. Cu Chi tunnels were used as the base from which the Vietnamese mounted their operations of the Tet Offensive in 1968. The incredible underground network in Cu Chi stretched over 200 kilometres and became legendary during the American war. The extensive tunnels have been specially constructed with living areas, weapon factories, filed hospitals, command centres, plus accommodation. Today we have an excursion to Cu Chi Tunnels to visit an exposition hall and a widened section of the tunnels to get a feel of the underground life. There are also possibilities to fire off rounds from an AK47 or MK16 at the nearby rifle range

DAY 07: SAIGON FLIGHT TO HANOI (B)

Step back in time as you fly from the buzzing, modern city of Ho Chi Minh to Hanoi.

Upon arrival at Noibai Airport, you’ll be met by our tour guide & transferred to for Check-in hotel in Hanoi.

Afternoon: Free time by your own.
In this afternoon or evening: We’ll arrange tickets for your “Water Puppet Show” at the most suitable time and you’ll walk on your own to the theatre to attend the show on time.

DAY 08: HA NOI- HALONG BAY- OVERNIGHT ON CRUISE (B/L/D)

• 08:30 Luxury van picks you up at your hotel in Hanoi Center. Enjoy the landscape of the Red River Delta on the way to Ha Long Bay.
• 11:00 Arriving Tuan Chau Marina, have check-in procedures at waiting lounge.
• 12:00 Embark on Pelican Glory, enjoy welcome drink while being given a short briefing. Check in to your room and get ready for a yummy lunch.
• 12:30 Enjoy Vietnamese and international lunch and the picturesque scenery of the bay, pass by the most beautiful areas: Incense Burner, Dog Stone Islet, Fighting Cock Islet, Three Coconuts Island.
• 15:00 Visit Tung Sau – the largest pearl farm in Ha Long Bay, learn the process of manual pearl culture and practice some techniques. This is also an ideal place for kayaking, get up and close to the timeless beauty of Ha Long.
• 17:00 Visit Ti Top island. Ti Top is a small limestone island with one of the best sandy beaches in Ha Long Bay. You can immerse yourself in emerald water and hike to the top for stunning panoramic views of the Bay.
• 17:45 Back to the boat and anchor at Lom Bo area.

DAY 09: HALONG BAY- HA NOI (B/L)

• 06:15 Seeing the bay in the morning is a wonderful experience, awaken all your senses with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck while gathering vitamin sea to refresh yourself before enjoying breakfast.
• 07:00 Coffee, tea and pastries for breakfast are served in the restaurant.
• 07:30 Visit Sung Sot Cave – a magnificent and largest limestone cave as its original name: Grotte des Surprising. The beautiful stalactites and stalagmites formed over millions of years are the reward after the steep climb on Bo Hon Island. Proper shoes are highly recommended when it’s wet.
• 09:30 Back to Pelican Classic. Check out and settle your bill at the reception.
• 10:00 Have brunch while cruising back. Relax on the sundeck or in the restaurant.
• 11:30 Disembark Pelican Classic at the pier, say best wishes, end your cruise with us.
• 4:30 Back to your drop-off point in Hanoi. End of the journey.

DAY 10 : HANOI HALF DAY CITY WALKING TOUR (B)

From your hotel, we take you to visit Ho Chi Minh complex, walking around Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum – the final resting place of Vietnamese great father or Uncle Ho, President Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house – where he lived on and off from 1958 to 1969… The next place is One Pillar Pagoda a group of structures consisting of a pagoda and a tower built in the middle of a square pond. Leave One Pillar Pagoda for the Temple of Literature the first college of Viet Nam dedicated to Confucian. Back to Hoan Kiem Lake and have a stopover with Ngoc Son Temple

Afternoon: You will enjoy our free foot massage service at Spa in Hanoi.

Itinerary:

AM: In the morning you will pay a visit My Son Sanctuary to explore history and culture of the Ancient Champa Kingdom, and then enjoy Apsara traditional music show. Transfer to Thanh Ha ceramic village to see how local people create a piece of pottery and you will have chance to make a product under the guidance of workshop owner and receive a clay whistle called “To He” as a gift before leaving. Take a boat on Thu Bon River back to Hoi An Ancient Town. Have lunch at restaurant.

PM: This afternoon you will take a walking tour around old streets to discover the charming beauty of Hoi An Ancient Town including Japanese Covered Bridge, Chinese Assembly Halls, Sa Huynh Museum, old houses and local market. Hoi An is such an ideal place for shopping and making tailor with reasonable price.  End the tour and you will be dropped off at your hotel in Hoi An.

AM: At 8:00 am our guide will welcome you at your hotel in Hoi An and take a boat trip to Cam Nam fishing village to learn fishing under the instruction of local people. Especially, you will practice by yourselves how to catch fish and throw fishing net into river. Then you will transfer to visit green Bay Mau water coconut forest and have chance to row basket boat to enjoy tranquil atmosphere, join in catching field crabs and explore the revolutionary base in Hoi An during Vietnam War. Then you will be transferred to start a cycling route to Tra Que Vegetable Village 3km from Hoi An Ancient Town. You ride through peaceful villages and enjoy the beauty of countryside surrounding Hoi An. On arrival, you are welcomed with friendly smiles and special welcome drinks: “E” water or local tea. PM: This afternoon, you will transfer to explore beautiful historical monument of Hoi An ancient town – the World Cultural Heritage. You will wander around old streets to visit this charming ancient town including the Japanese Covered Bridge, Chinese Assembly Halls, Phuoc Kien Pagoda, Sa Huynh Museum and the local market to get knowledge about the cultural and historical values of Hoi An. Am: Pick up at your hotel and transfer to Da Nang. On the way, visit Marble Mountain which was named after the ancient oriental philosophy including 5 elements creating universe: metal, wood, water, fire and earth. Reaching here, you will see the systems of caves. Next, you transfer to visit Ba Na Hills to enjoy the beautiful view of from the cable car up to the summit. Upon arrival have sightseeing and take photos at the world famous Golden Bridge, continue to flower garden Le Jardin D’amour where has many kinds of beautiful flowers and Debay Wine Cellar where are storing different wines. Take another cable car route to reach French Village at the height of 1138 meters for experience architecture here. Have lunch at restaurant.

PM: You will spend more time playing games at Fantasy Amusement Park (almost normal games and 4D Movie already included in the tour package but only some games which have reward, you will pay fee by yourself).
