Thai Binh has been well known for a typical kind of folk stage, which is considered as the ââ¬Åunique traditional art, and spirit of Viet Nam fieldââ¬Â. It is the water puppet art. Many traditional water puppet guilds are concentrated in Thai Binh. Thai Binh water puppet art has high artistic degree and diversification. Many kinds of water puppets are preserved in a guild in Nguyen village (Nguyen Xa – Dong Hung) such as Teu, which is the biggest puppet of Viet Nam with height of 0.90 m), Duong Tang monk, French soldier, anti French and American soldier, big sized Unicorn, duck and even a small fish, etc. Looking at all diversified water puppets in Nguyen village, we are proud of artistsââ¬â¢ talent of depicting art and production of puppet controlling apparatus.
