Biking to Elephant Camp

We veer to the left and follow the dirt road to the Tiger Trail Elephant & Adventure camp. Our sights are filled with farmers working the land, forests of teakwood, distant mountain vistas, and the smiles of passing locals curious about their observers. After a short break in the wonderful camp with a breathtaking view to a 600m high towering rock face, we cross the river by local boat to start our Elephant ride (1 ½ Hour) to the That Se Waterfall.

Here you can enjoy the clear spring water which invites you for a refreshing bath. We go back to the camp with a motorboat to take a cup of coffee or tea in our Eco-Resort. In the late afternoon we have time to visit the nearby village and take a look in the rural life of lao people. We stay overnight in the jungle camp or in a family house.

Day 2 – Luang Prabang Bicycle Tour To Elephant Camp & Khmu Village: Trekking to Khmu & Hmong village. (6 Hours), back by car.

At the second day we start our trekking to Hmong & Kmu hill tribe villages. Bear witness by sharing a rare opportunity to observe unique aspects of Lao rural life during this day trekking trip and become cognizant of the culture of the Hmong and Kmu hill tribes.

We have many trails to choose from and there are shorter and longer ones. In the end, relieve your hot, exhausted, and aching body by immersing yourself in the cool, refreshing nearby river. We return in the afternoon and go back by car to Luang Phabang.
