DaY 02: 1-Day Bangkok City Temple tour IN PRIVATE: Grand Palace & Emerald Buddha Temple (B/L)

Begin your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel before embarking on an exciting sightseeing tour of Bangkok’s most iconic temples and landmarks. Start your tour with a visit to Wat Traimit, renowned for its 900-year-old, five-and-a-half-ton solid gold Buddha image. Next, visit Wat Arun, one of Bangkok’s most famous landmarks, celebrated for its stunning architecture and beautiful views along the Chao Phraya River. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, savoring the flavors of authentic Thai cuisine.

After lunch, head to Wat Pho, the largest and oldest temple in Bangkok, where you can marvel at the impressive Reclining Buddha and explore the birthplace of traditional Thai massage. Conclude your sightseeing with a visit to the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. Despite the proximity of these two sites, there is a distinct contrast in style between the very Thai Wat Phra Kaew and the more European-inspired designs of the Grand Palace. After this enriching cultural experience, return to the hotel and enjoy the rest of your day at leisure.

DaY 03: Bangkok – Floating Market – Bridge of the River Kwai – Kanchanburi (B/L)

Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a full-day adventure exploring some of Thailand’s most fascinating and historically significant sites. Depart from Bangkok and head towards one of the region’s vibrant floating markets. Experience the bustling atmosphere as you navigate through the canals lined with boats selling a variety of fresh produce, local snacks, and handcrafted goods. Take this opportunity to sample some delicious Thai treats and immerse yourself in the local culture. Continue your journey to Kanchanaburi to visit the iconic Bridge over the River Kwai, a historic site that is part of the Death Railway constructed during World War II. Walk across the bridge, learn about its poignant history at the nearby museum, and pay your respects at the war cemetery dedicated to the prisoners of war who lost their lives during its construction.

Enjoy a traditional Thai lunch at a riverside restaurant, offering scenic views and a relaxing atmosphere.

After lunch, explore more of Kanchanaburi’s attractions. You might visit the JEATH War Museum, which provides further insight into the history of the Death Railway and the experiences of the prisoners of war. Alternatively, take a short trip to Hellfire Pass, another significant site along the railway, where you can walk through the pass and visit the memorial museum. Return to Bangkok in the late afternoon, reflecting on the day’s experiences during the drive back to your hotel. DaY 04: Bangkok – BUS TO SIEM REAP (B)

Begin your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel before preparing for your journey to Siem Reap. Check out from the hotel in Bangkok and board the bus that will take you through a scenic route to Siem Reap, Cambodia. Enjoy the countryside views and the gradual transition from the bustling cityscape of Bangkok to the more tranquil and cultural landscapes of Cambodia.

After lunch (at your own arrangement), continue your journey, crossing the border and undergoing immigration procedures. The drive offers an opportunity to relax and perhaps read or enjoy the changing scenery. Arrive in Siem Reap in the late afternoon and check in to your hotel. The rest of the evening is free for you to explore the charming town of Siem Reap at your own pace. You might stroll through the lively markets, visit a local café, or simply relax at the hotel, preparing for the exciting days ahead. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 05: Siem Reap- 1-DAY ANGKOR WAT PRIVATE TOUR (B)

We start the morning with a visit to the magnificent ANGKOR WAT, the symbol of Cambodia. Dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu by King Surya Varman II, who reigned between 1131 and 1150, Angkor Wat was constructed over a period of 30 years and illustrates some of the most beautiful examples of Khmer and Hindu art. Next visit, TA PROHM, the site of the hit movie Tomb Raiders one of the most popular attractions of Angkor as much of the jungle has not been cleared and it looks very much as most of the Angkor monuments would have appeared when European explorers first stumbled across them.  

Later, visit the fortified city of ANGKOR THOM, covering an area of 10 square km enclosed by a wall and wide moats, the city includes many of Angkor’s most popular sights. Here, enjoy a Water Blessing Ceremony performed by the monk from Tep Pranom pagoda at one of the ancient temples Angkor Thom. The water blessing is said to bring peace, good luck and happiness. Receive a personalized blessing of your own during this 1-hour water blessing experience at the Tep Pranom pagoda. Includes lunch at a local restaurant.

Day 06: Siem Reap FREE DAY (B)

Start your journey with a comfortable ride from your hotel in Siem Reap to the lake’s shores. As you board the private boat, feel the gentle breeze and take in the expansive views of the water. The boat will navigate through floating villages, offering a glimpse into the unique way of life of the local communities who live on the water. Day 09: PHNOM PENh – ½ DAY CITY TOUR IN PRIVATE (B)

Begin your day with a solemn visit to the Choeung Ek Memorial, where a striking stupa containing around 8,000 human skulls marks the site of the infamous Killing Fields. This peaceful setting belies its tragic history as the execution ground for the torture victims of Tuol Sleng.

Nearly 9,000 corpses have been exhumed from this area, serving as a haunting reminder of Cambodia’s brutal past. Next, confront this history more deeply on a guided tour of the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. Originally a school, Tuol Sleng was transformed into a Khmer Rouge torture center, where it is estimated that over 20,000 people were imprisoned and tortured. The museum’s exhibits provide a powerful insight into the atrocities committed during this dark period. After this poignant and educational experience, return to your hotel to reflect and relax.
