10-Day Cambodia and Vietnam Tour brings chances to experience the imposing Angkor Wat, an ancient city in Cambodia that was the center of the Khmer empire that once ruled most of Southeast Asia. Another highlight is Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s busy capital, sitting at the junction of the Mekong and Tonlé Sap rivers. It was a hub for both the Khmer Empire and French colonialists. A boat trip along the Mekong will take you to Southern Vietnam where you will explore Mekong Delta including Can Tho, Chau Doc, and Ben Tre/My Tho. The trip is not complete without a memorable visit to the commercial hub of Saigon.

DAY 01: Cambodia and Vietnam Tour : ARRIVAL – SIEM REAP
Warmly welcome at Siem Reap International airport, you are met by our driver and then transferred direct to hotel for check in.
In the evening, you will be free to go out for dinner and visit the market.

DAY 02: Cambodia and Vietnam Tour : SIEM REAP – FULL DAY ANGKOR TOUR – IN GROUP (B)
Breakfast at hotel, you’ll be at leisure a bit and then:
08:00 hrs: Our driver with tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and transfer to South Gate of Angkor Thom.
Walk through the South Gate of Angkor Thom via the Naga Bridge, taking some photos.
Walk from South Gate of Angkor Thom to Bayon temple via the big trees, play with monkeys (be careful with your things as monkey might try to take it away from you)
Visit to Bayon Temple and walk to Baphuon, Elephant Terrance, Leper King Terrace and the Royal Enclosure
13:00 hrs: You’ll be driven to ANGKOR WAT Temple area
Visit to Angkor Wat Temple until sunset
17:30 hrs: Our guide will bring you back to hotel for the night

Half day tour to visit the floating village of Mechrey Eco tourist is 15 km on the south west of Siem reap. Just only 25 minutes drive pass by country of rice field then you will arrive at ancient-built port waiting to board the tourists on the boat to discover the attractive nature along the waterway. With one and a half hour exploration round trip, at first you will see a floating village where hundreds of families earn their living depending entirely by fishing in a traditional way by making 2 dollars a day in average.
When you go further, there is an old pagoda constructed in 1964 on 2700m2 island engulfed with water and a stopover to take photos of surrounding natural beauty such as floating houses, traditional fishing, people living, and children rowing boat to school. To travel further, you will go through an impressive flooded forests stretching over 24 km2.
The forest is a habitat of hundreds types of fish and water birds and from November to May, hundreds of water birds will come to this area to look for foods as it is a safe and full of proteins for those birds, especially this area is only 6 km from Conservation of Prek Toal Bird Sanctuary, where thousands of water birds live and breed. Visiting and Experiencing this newly discovered natural tourist Mechrey will help improve people living standard in the area, where formerly the area is a tug of war battle and no one ever take a look after peace prevail in the area.

DAY 04: SIEM REAP – PHNOM PENH by bus (B)
Breakfast at hotel, you will be picked up by our driver then transferred to the bus station to Phnom Penh.
On arrival Siem Reap, you will be met and transferred to the hotel.

DAY 05: PHNOM PENH CITY TOUR – IN PRIVATE (B)
Breakfast at hotel, we will visit to the Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda, located within the grounds of the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles. Then continue your visit to National Museum. Lunch not included
Visit to Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum or S21, was the former Tuol Svay Prey High School. The Khmer Rouge set up a prison at this site in May 1976, to detain individual accused of opposing the Pol Pot regime, and was Angkar’s premier security institution, the Killing Field of Choeung Ek, and Wat Phnom temples. Dinner not included and night at hotel.

DAY 6: PHNOM PENH – CHAU DOC (B)
Breakfast at the hotel; free at your own leisure time and transfer to Phnom Penh international port connect boat to Chau Doc.
Arrival to Chau Doc, you are met by our guide and transferred to Chau Doc Hotel. In the evening, you will be free to have dinner and overnight in Chau Doc.

DAY 7: CHAU DOC – TRA SU – CAN THO (B,L)
After breakfast, take a nice boat trip through the floating village to visit a fish farm to see how the Mekong Delta people raise fish in their floating houses. Visit the Cham minority with their traditional weaving village, followed by a local Islamic Mosque. Stop for lunch. Proceed to Can Tho, continue the tour to visit Tra Su, getting to the wild birds Sanctuary, cruising smoothly with small boats to discover the arrays of splendid canals deep into the forest, watching storks, cranes and other tropical birds. Back to the Town, hotel check in.

DAY 8: CAI RANG – BEN TRE/ MY THO – VINH TRANG – SAI GON (B,L)
After breakfast, take a leisurely boat trip to explore the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong river (Bassac River), then proceed to Cai Rang floating markets , which are the liveliest in the whole religion. Have you ever tasted Vietnamese vermicelli soup? Well, now go and see how it is made. Then wander around the village and meet the friendly local people and experience how to pass a “Monkey bridge” which is built by only one stem of bamboo.
Visit the orchard garden. Stop for lunch. Proceed to My Tho, enjoy the scenic journey along the way bordered by green rice fields. On arrival at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang pagoda, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet, have lunch in the orchard garden.
Then a boat ride to An Khanh – a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shade of water coconut trees along natural canals, then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of “Southern Vietnamese folk music”, performed by the locals. Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste delicious coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you roam through the fruit plantations and villages.

DAY 9: HO CHI MINH CITY – CU CHI TUNNELS (B)
Today we spend a half day exploring the captivating Ho Chi Minh City. The most places of interest are located near the town center. We pass by the now-demolished wartime American Embassy on our way to the Reunification Palace. This famous edifice was a former residence of the President of Southern Vietnam until end of Maril 1975.
Close to the palace are some striking French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Sai Gon Post Office. We follow these with a visit to the Jade Emperor Pagoda and the War Remnant Museum with a wealth of images from the notorious conflicts. The sightseeing ends up with a walk around the retail Ben Thanh Market where anything and everything is for sale!
Afternoon: Transfer about 30km north-west of Ho Chi Minh City to Cu Chi town. Cu Chi tunnels were used as the base from which the Vietnamese mounted their operations of the Tet Offensive in 1968. The incredible underground network in Cu Chi stretched over 200 kilometres and became legendary during the American war. The extensive tunnels have been specially constructed with living areas, weapon factories, filed hospitals, command centres, plus accommodation. Today we have an excursion to Cu Chi Tunnels to visit an exposition hall and a widened section of the tunnels to get a feel of the underground life. There are also possibilities to fire off rounds from an AK47 or MK16 at the nearby rifle range

DAY 10: HO CHI MINH – DEPARTURE (B)
Breakfast at hotel, you will be free till our guide & driver come to pick you up to the airport for your flight back home.
