Day 01 – Northwest Vietnam Tour to Mai Chau, Son La, Dien Bien, Sapa: Hanoi – Arrival
Arrive in Hanoi. Reception and transfer to hotel downtown. Visit the center of Hanoi. Welcome dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi
Day 02 – Northwest Vietnam Tour to Mai Chau, Son La, Dien Bien, Sapa : Hanoi – Mai Chau
Drive to Mai Chau town we cross different minority by a sunken road. Arrive in Mai Chau, welcome by the hosts and then a walk to discover this beautiful region inhabited by the Thai. Overnight homestay in a house on stilts.
Day 03 – Northwest Vietnam Tour to Mai Chau, Son La, Dien Bien, Sapa : Mai Chau trekking and Homestay tours – Xa Linh – Hang Kia
Xa Linh transfer by road from Son La. We are in a mountainous and green, inhabited by several tribes. We start our périble by roads through villages of Mong green and red. Night in Hang Kia village Mong.
Day 04 – Northwest Vietnam Tour to Mai Chau, Son La, Dien Bien, Sapa: Hang Kia trekking – Cun Pheo
We descend by marked footpaths in a little valley through fields of cassava and maize. Arrival in the Thai village Cun Pheo.
Day 05 – Northwest Vietnam Tour to Mai Chau, Son La, Dien Bien, Sapa: Cun Pheo trekking – Van May
Walk to Van May. Homestay in Van May village
Day 06 – Northwest Vietnam Tour to Mai Chau, Son La, Dien Bien, Sapa: Van Mai – Son La
Transfer to Son La.
Day 07 – Northwest Vietnam Tour to Mai Chau, Son La, Dien Bien, Sapa: Son La – Dien Bien Phu
We continue to Dien Bien Phu through the Pha Din Pass where we will visit the Mong village of the same name. Visit Dien Bien Phu.
Day 08 – Best Northwest Vietnam Hiking Tour: Dien Bien Phu – Muong Lay
Stop at the village of Muong So to meet the Monge red wigs made from donated ponytails. We continue to Lai Chau and we plunge into the Chinese and Laotian borders.
