Itinerary :

Day 1: Phnom Penh – Tonle Bati – Takeo – Kampot
Day 2: Kampot Adventure – Nokor National Park
Day 3: Kampot’s Kep – Phnom Penh

Day 1 – Phnom Penh Venturing Tour In Focus: Phnom Penh – Tonle Bati – Takeo – Phnom Da – Kampot  (L,D)

Depart from Phnom Penh for Kampot. En route, stop at Tonle Bati and visit Ta Prohm temple (12-13 centuries) and Yeay Peau temple (12th century). Visit the Prasat Neang Khmao, the temple of the Black Virgin (10th century) and visit a silk weaving village before proceeding to Takeo.Lunch at local restaurant.

Take a boat from Takeo to Phnom Da (please note that the speedboat does not have a cover or any shade – hat and sun tan cream essential).

Visit Phnom Da temple (the climb up is easy as this particular Phnom “hill” is not very high. The path up to the temple is steep, over some big rocks), a pre-Angkorian laterite tower (6th century) and Asram Maharoseil (6th century), an Indian-style sandstone temple constructed in a style unlike any other temple in Cambodia. Return to Takeo by boat and continue to Kampot and check-in at Borei Bokor hotel.
Dinner at local restaurant and accommodation at hotel.

Day 2 – Phnom Penh Venturing Tour In Focus: Kampot Adventure Package Tours to Bokor National Park (B,L,D)

Breakfast at hotel.

Drive to Bokor National Park – a pleasant 30 minutes forest walk will take you to the Popokvil Waterfalls’ access is difficult in wet season and there may be no water in dry season  however, the walk is pleasant at any time! Visit the long abandoned hill station of Bokor Mountain: discover the ruins of the former Royal Residence, the church, the casino hotel and enjoy an amazing view of the southern coast.

Picnic lunch provided at the site.

Drive back to Kampot for a boat trip on the pristine Kamchay River.

Dinner at local restaurant and accommodation at hotel.

Day 3 – Phnom Penh Venturing Tour In Focus: Kampot ‘s KEP – Phnom Penh (B,L)

Drive to Kep, formerly known as Kep-sur-Mer. This beautiful coastal area was once the favorite holiday spot for Cambodia’s French-influenced elite.
Boat trip to Rabbit Island.

Koh Tonsay is located about 4.5 Kilometers southwest of Kep. Tourists are drawn to the two beautiful white sand beaches. The sea here is shallow and has a long slope, making Koh Tonsay excellent for swimming. At the sea bottom area a variety of corals, sea animals and plants which attract researchers and ecologists.

Back to Kampot for lunch at local restaurant. Drive back to Phnom Penh. End of the trip
