For those who have a short time for touring in Cambodia but want to experience the history, culture & beach relaxation …And this tour might be the best choice. Specifically, leaving Phnom Penh to Takeo with a visit to Phnom Chisor, stopping at Kompot then another visit at Phnom Da temple of Funan era of early Khmer civilization. The favorite destination is Sihanoukville with a sightseeing at Kbal Chhay Waterfall. Finally, backing to Phnom Penh to end the trip

Day 1 – Cambodia Tour For Escapes: Phnom Penh – Takeo Adventure Tours (-/L/D)

Morning travel by vehicle to Takeo province, 77Km south of Phnom Penh on the national road No.2 passing Tonle Bati – a picnic spot located on a small lake. The area also harbors Ta Phrom, the ruins of two small, uniquely constructed 12th century temples.

Afternoon, continue to visit Phnom Chisor. Mountain 57Km south of Phnom Penh, on the top of the 503 steps ascending Phnom Chisor sit some very nicely preserved 10th/11th century temple ruins.

Overnight in a guest house at Takeo.

Day 2 – Cambodia Tour For Escapes: Takeo Package Tours to Kompot – Cambodia Culture exploration (B/L/D)

After breakfast, take speed boat to visit Phnom Da temple of Funan era of early Khmer civilization (1st – 5th century), which is a temple mountain belonging to the pre-Angkorian Khmer capital of Angkor Borei The temple on top of Phnom Da is built in the 11th century from laterite, bricks and sandstone on the site of a 6th century temple from the Funan period, built by king Rutravarman.

The temple’s peak is damaged. A sculpture depicting the churning of the Ocean of Milk has been broken in two parts. In the side of the hill, there are five man-made caves that reflect the style of Phnom Da. In each of the caves, there is a Shiva lingam and Uma yoni, phallic symbol of Shiva worship. During the Pol Pot regime, the caves were used as cremation places. After lunch, take a car to Kampot Province, visit Kep.

Day 3 – Cambodia Tour For Escapes: Kompot – Sihanoukville Beach vacations (B/L/-)

After breakfast, tour to Bokor Mountain Resort for a whole morning. After lunch, travel to Sihanouk ville.
Overnight at Seaside hotel.

Day 4 – Cambodia Tour For Escapes: Sihanoukville Beach Vacations (B/L/-)

After breakfast, tour to Kbal Chhay Waterfall, located about 8 kilometers from the town of Sihanoukville. The history of Kbal Chhay waterfall was found in 1960. Until 1963 Kbal Chhay arranged as the clean-water sources for providing to Sihanouk Ville, but the arrangement was failed became a hidden place for Khmer Rouge. In 1997, Kbal Chhay was changed to the developing zone.

In 1998 Kbal Chhay was for bid by Kok An Company on constructing road and changing this site as tourist resort for local and international tourists. Nowadays, the Royal Government of Cambodia has changed this site as the clean-water sources for providing clean water to Sihanouk Ville. Later on. we will return to the town for lunch. After lunch, city tour including Buddhist Temples, Sea Port, Independent Square and Phsar Leu (Upper Market). Rest of time, you will be relaxed on beach

Day 5 – Cambodia Tour For Escapes: Sihanoukville Beach Vacations (B/-/-)

After breakfast, free at leisure to swimming and relaxation along the beach of Sihanoukville. Overnight at Seaside hotel.

Day 6 – Cambodia Tour For Escapes: Sihanoukville – Phnom Penh – City tours (B/-/-)

After breakfast, transfer from Sihanoukville to Phnom Penh.

End of the trip!
