Just only 25 minutes drive, arrival village you will enjoy Ox-cart riding around 2-Km then continue to an ancient-built port waiting to board the tourists on the boat to discover the attractive nature along the waterway, at first you will see a floating village where hundreds of families earn their living depending entirely by fishing in a traditional way. an old pagoda constructed in 1964 on 2700 m2 island engulfed with water and a stopover to take photos of surrounding natural beauty such as floating houses, traditional fishing, people living, and children rowing boat to school. To travel further, you will go through an impressive flooded forests stretching over 24 km2. The forest is a habitat of hundreds types of fish and waterbirds and from November to May, hundreds of waterbirds will come to this area to look for foods as it is a safe and full of proteins for those birds, especially this area is only 6 km from Conservation of Prek Toal Bird Sanctuary

Day 01. Cambodia Bird-watching Tour: Arrival – Siem Reap Package Tours (-/-/-)

Upon arrival at Siem Reap Airport, meet and welcome with your tour guide then transfer to hotel for check-in. After check-in, proceed to start your trip to visit Artisans’ Angkor to discover the traditional Khmer techniques used for stone and wood carving, we continue visiting the Silk farm at Pouk commune, , enjoy sunset on Bangkeng Hill.

Siem Reap, which literally means the “Defeat of Siam”, is the most prosperous region of contemporary Cambodia. Its close proximity to the Angkor Wat temple complex  has turned the city into one of the world’s premier travel destinations. More than one million travelers visit Siem Reap every year to explore over a thousand years of Khmer heritage built near Tonle Sap Lake,  the foundation of the economic power of the ancient Cambodian empire.

Day 02. Cambodia Bird-watching Tour: Siem Reap Sightseeing Tours  (B/-/-)

This morning, visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom (Great Angkor or Great City). Angkor Thom is a l 3km walled and moated royal city and was the last capital of the Angkorian Empire. The ancient walled city of Angkor Thom contains the famous Bayon Temple with its more than 200 enormous, mysterious smiling faces.

Next, visit to the Terrace of the Elephants. Impressive, two and half meter tall wall spanning the heart of Angkor Thom in the front of Baphoun and Phimeanakas, Carved elephants and giant guards adorn the wall. Terrace of the Leper King ‘s  a double terrace at the north end of the Terrace of the Elephants with deeply carved nagas, demons and other mythological beings.

Continue to Ta Prohm a temple in its “natural state” Surround by jungle, its labyrinth of stone hallways is overgrown with the roots and limbs of the massive Banyan trees which envelope the stones like tentacles. After lunch, visit ANGKOR WAT – one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

Angkor Wat, the largest temples in the world, with a volume of stone equalling that of the Cheops pyramid in Egypt/ The temples of Angkor, built from 879 -1191AD, when the Khmer civilization was at the height of its development. Tonight, enjoy your dinner with Khmer traditional Dance show (meal is separately quoted).

Day 03. Cambodia Bird-watching Tour: Siem Reap – Preak Toal Bird Sanctuary (B/L/-)

We drive from hotel about 25 minutes before getting on boat, with another 1.30-hour boat ride will bring you to the northwest tip of Lake, to Prek Toal Bird Sanctuary, home too many species of wild birds. We board the boat to glide through the waterways into the bird sanctuary.

The rest of the morning is dedicated to bird watching along the waterways, the lakeshore and from the top of the watching towers where the rangers are guarding the colonies. Visit the floating village on a paddle boat tour and discover different aspects of the village activities: crocodile farming, fish raising, fishing operation preparation, traditional medicine, boat shops, spirit houses, floating schools, etc.

Your guide will also give you an insight into the Osmose project through visits of the environmental education school, the floating gardens and the water hyacinth handicraft workshop. You will return to your hotel in Siem Reap around 5pm or 6pm.

After breakfast at hotel free at your own leisure then transfer to airport for flight departure.
